Villa Christina is a spacious self-catering holiday villa located on the edge of a quiet Greek seaside village about 7 mins walk from a safe sandy beach and the village centre. Simply furnished, the villa offers sea views, balconies to relax on and a large, shady, enclosed garden surrounded by olive groves with seings and slide for our younger guests. If you are a large family/group rent the whole of Villa Christina exclusively, or if you require less space just rent one of the Villa Christina Apartments.

The accommodation in the villa is arranged as follows:
First Floor:
Spacious apartment sleeping up to 4 people approx. 85 sq. m in total. Large living room with seating and dining areas and well equipped kitchen. Two twin bedrooms, bathroom, with WC, washbasin and full sized bath with shower attachment, and separate cloakroom with WC. There is a TV, DVD, VCR and washing machine for use by renters. The apartment is fully air-conditioned. One large and several small balconies for relaxing on. Enjoy the views over the olive groves whilst you take your breakfast on the balcony - magic!
Second Floor:
Two simply furnished self contained apartments approx. 42 sq.m. Each accommodates up to 4 people. Each has a twin bedroom with air conditioning. The bathroom has a full bath with shower attachment. Each apartment also has an open plan living/ dining area with double sofa bed and well equipped kitchen area. This room has a ceiling fan but does not have air-conditioning. Each apartment has two private balconies of its own and both apartments have access to another very large balcony, helping to make the most of the wonderful sun!
These two apartments can be easily combined for parties of up to 8 people wishing to holiday in this beautiful Greek seaside village.

In the garden you will find barbecues and seating. There is a mixture of grass and flowerbeds - plenty of space to relax in. There is parking for up to 3 cars at the villa and ample free parking in the village of Amaliapolis itself.

We are licenced by EOT (the official tourism authority in Greece) and have been awarded the prestgious 3 keys category for the standard of accommodation provided.

The Village:
In the centre of Amaliapolis you will find a choice of cafes/bars and tavernas, with excellent fish, three of which stay open all year, all within walking distance of this vacation rental. The village also has two bakeries selling delicious freshly baked bread for breakfast and two general stores. The sandy beach is also within walking distance of the apartments and is sandy and gently sloping - making it very suitable for young children. There is also a children's playground, 5-a-side football pitch and volleyball court next to the beach. In high season there are 2 lively beach bars. In summer Amaliapolis is popular with holidaying Greek families. You can experience the 'real' Greece here largely untouched by ‘packaged' tourism.

In this undiscovered part of Thessaly there are several good beaches within a 30 minute drive and you can also take a boat trip to the island of Skiathos with its famous sandy beaches from the nearby village of Achillion. The area of Magnesia around this holiday rental is rich in archaeological sites including Ancient Thebes, Prehistoric Dimini, Sesklo and Dimitras. Volos is a bustling small city with a wide range of shops, restaurants and ferry links to the nearby islands of Skiathos, Alonissos and Skopelos. The Pelion Peninsula is within driving distance with beautiful scenery, and a mixture of seaside villages and mountain settlements with breathtaking views. You can even ski at the resort of Agriolefkes in Pelion in winter.

Further away but still near enough to make it a day trip you can visit from this rental accommodation the medieval monasteries of Meteora, ancient Delphi and the archaeological site at Dion. Inland across the cotton growing plains of Thessaly you will find the natural beauties of Lake Plastiras and the Vale of Tempe.
