Guest Feedback

"We stayed here for the May Bank holiday weekend in the big cottage. It was perfect and exactly what we were looking for, a peaceful and tranquil getaway. The house was extremely comfortable, spacious and had all mod cons including Sky digital. It is located right on the picturesque shoreline which provided for many scenic walks. It is a perfect base for exploring both Clare and Galway. The owner was extremely helful and friendly. "

"A group of freinds & myself rented the house online. We were delighted with the accommodation - It was lovely with spacious rooms, an open fire place, a great kitchen & great space. The location is rural with spectacular views of the sea and Cliffs of Moher. It is a walkers paradise with many walks to chose from. The nearest village is Kinvara with great pubs & restaurants. We would highly recommend renting it. "

"Heron cottage is a wonderful place, spacious, bright and airy, perfect. We had two families, one with two small children and one with two young adults, very suitable and safe for both. There was plenty of room for everyone and never felt crowded. The views are wonderful and the peace and quiet so welcome. The younger kids could safely explore the shores nearer to the house, and the older ones went further afield exploring on a couple of really nice walks. There is a lovely beach a nice walk by the lake with swans, perfect for everyone. It also makes a lovely walk to the nearest pub Linnanes, which serves good food and fresh fish. You can also buy the fish at this pier and take it back, as we did for a bar b que one evening. Kinvara is short drive away for food supplies, and Ballvaughan and Doolin are great spots to drive to for pub craic and traditional music. Overall, location is great and the house was great and we cant wait to go back.! "
