If ever there was a house and grounds designed for games of hide and seek - Orchard House would be it. This historic house, dating back to the 12th century oozes colour, style and comfort.
The main house has four bedrooms, two en suite, sleeping 8 guests while the adjoining studio accommodates two more.
The whole house feels like it was made to be enjoyed with a massive kitchen/diner at its heart. Here everyone gathers to eat and relax around the great table, enjoying big breakfasts, lazy lunches and fabulous family dinners. When the sun beats down, there is a large patio outside which is a real sun-trap and ideal for barbecues after a day on the beach or exploring along the many walks and cyclepaths in the area.
The house is great for large families, or dual family holidays. Adults can gain some peace in the spacious lounge while next door the children enjoy table football, the PlayStation or one of the many games in the toychest. Upstairs there is a secret, child-sized with yet more toys and games.
Orchard is set in almost an acre of private grounds with lawns, a wild wood and lawned gardens perfect for exploring, climbing and playing games all day long. The house has been lovingly restored and still retains many original features with uneven floors and a twisting, narrow wooden set of back stairs, with a more formal staircase for those seeking a touch more grandure. This house is made for memorable holiday with family and friends.
