With the big three - Disney, Universal and SeaWorld all within a ten mile radius, this is THE place to be for theme park fans of all ages. In fact, with its year round sunshine, visitor focused economy, wealth of holiday homes for every taste and pocket and attractions for every age and ability, this area is perfect the destination for couples young and old and families alike.

Whilst it cannot be disputed that Walt Disney World is the number one holiday destination on the planet for children of a certain age and families with young children do make up a large proportion of the visiting population but the Greater Orlando area has something to offer for everyone. Premium Outlets and Prime Outlets plus the Florida Mall and the Mall at Millenia make Orlando a shopper's delight with amazing deals to be had - particularly on designer and major label clothing.

Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure will appeal to the older children, tweens and teens will enjoy these more adult themed attractions with the focus on high speed thrill rides, music and movies. For seafood lovers, Seaworld offers a wide variety of entertainment all within a fairly compact park - spectacular animal shows, two of the top rated roller coasters in Florida, interactive and educational animal exhibits and a large play area for younger children including mini versions of adult rides like roller coasters, carousels and such.

The majority of holiday homes - mostly villa rentals as opposed to apartments - are clustered in the Kissimmee area - about fifteen minutes drive south of Disneyworld and about half an hour from Universal, SeaWorld and the major shopping areas. This area is also very well serviced by restaurants and smaller attractions - mostly centered around US 192 and International Drive. Many visitors return year after year, often even staying in the same holiday homes every time, as there is simply too much to see and do in a single trip.
