What time of year do you think you need to have pool heating?

Pool heating is recommended between October and March, though can be provided throughout the year if required.

Is there any fishing available locally?

Yes there is local fishing available and we are happy to provide details as part of a genuine enquiry.

Are there any differences in driving in Florida than is the UK?

Yes there are a few rules that you need to be aware of - apart from driving on the other side of the road. As there is quite a lot of information - please contact us as we are unable to add it all here.

The villa is set in a very quiet neighbourhood only a few minutes drive from the main 192 with a good choice of shops and restuarants or for the more energetic a 45 minute stroll (you can always get a taxi back). The villa is very spacious and a real home from home with the added benefit of sunshine and a swimming pool - perfect for having a chill out day away from the parks. The men in our group like fishing and there are a couple of lakes on Indian Creek where they caught Bass and Blue Gill. For eating out there are numerous places to choose from but the price varies alot (especially if you drink wine). We would recommend Millers ale House for a cheap family night out in a busy diner/sports bar atmosphere with a 'something for everyone' menu. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely book again.” "

I also thought the location was perfect - we talked to people who were the other end of 192 and then down 27 (?) so it took the best part of 40 minutes for them to get to the main parks. We particularly liked not having to share the pool as we would have done if we booked a hotel. The service from the owners and the management company from booking to departure was first class.
