Lake View Villa Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club - a 24 hour manned GATED COMMUNITY.

At Lake View Villa you will enjoy a very private location and is an ideal base if you want an action packed holiday. It's close enough to get to the parks daily and particularly good if you want to try the new Legoland and also ideal if you want to take advantage of other things that Florida offers, like golf, fishing, birding, water skiing or hiring a boat for the day. If you fancy a day at the beach you will have so many to choose from, the nearest being about an hour a way but perhaps the best being an hour and twenty minutes.

The villa has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with plenty of bed linen and towels for your use. The main two bedrooms have a TV in the room and three of the bedrooms have lake views. 1 bedroom and bathroom are downstairs with the remainder upstairs. The downstairs bedroom has doors which open out to the covered porch. The views from this bedroom are lovely.

The lounge area has TV, DVD player and Ps2. The games room has a pool table and electronic darts board for your enjoyment.

The kitchen contains a stove and hob, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge freezer with icemaker, kettle, smoothie maker, coffee maker, toaster as well as crockery, glasses, knives, forks, pots and pans etc.

There is a separate utility room, which has a large washing machine and seperate tumble dryer plus iron and ironing board.

Outside there are two sun loungers, table and four chairs and of course your own private swimming pool. We also supply a child safety fence.

If you are interested in birding then bring your binoculars. As the villa overlooks the lake you get to see a wide variety of birds. We even had a bald eagle flying over the lake on a previous visit. We often see the beautiful orange Cardinals, Anhingas, Mockingbirds, Herons, Purple Gallinule to name just a few. On the golf course you will also most likely see Sandhill Cranes.

At Southern Dunes you will have golf on site (although there is a charge for this direct to the golf club), a golf range, putting green, gym and tennis courts (we have tennis rackets in the games room for your free use but you may need to buy a couple of tennis balls as these often get lost).

Just outside the gates of Southern Dunes is a 24 hour Walmart so you can buy provisions no matter what time you arrive, fast food establishments from burgers and pizzas to mexican and chinese to name but a few. Of course the famous Mannys Chop house is only about 20 minutes walk away (5 minute drive) - the food is delicious and the atmosphere lively. Blockbusters is also just over the road so you can hire the DVDs and PS2 games of your choice. I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture - a fantastic location to suite all members of the family.
